The discount cannot be combined or combined with any other discounts. Renting a vehicle can be very expensive, so it's worth taking advantage of the military discounts.

National Car Rental might offer a military discount to you if you are a veteran. When you rent a car, all you need is your military ID. If you don't present your military ID, you'll be charged for the full rental price. The discount cannot be combined with any other coupon, promotion or offer.
You must be either a veteran or a member of the current military to be eligible for the discount. Civilians do not qualify for the discount. It is valid for active and retired military personnel.
